About the Authority: The authority is responsible for administering Housing and Urban Development entitlement funds on behalf of the county, providing administrative support to the Vacant Property Reinvestment Board and the Land Bank Authority, supporting revitalization projects in downtowns across the county and issuing housing bonds to support affordable housing.
The Authority consists of 5 members appointed by the Lancaster County Commissioners. Those 5 members also serve as the board of the Housing Authority and serve on the Land Bank Authority.
