About the Authority: The authority serves to provide rental assistance to low-income families through the Housing Choice Voucher Programs, and Emergency Rental Assistance Program for Lancaster County including Lancaster City. The authority administers the Housing and Urban Development Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for the county.
The Housing Authority consists of a 5 member board that is appointed by the Lancaster County Commissioners. The members of the Housing Authority Board are the same individuals who are appointed to serve on the Redevelopment Authority (LINK IT).
