The Board of Commissioners shares the important goal of preserving what we have in Lancaster County and ensuring future generations can have access to valuable natural lands and clean water here. Today the Board presented a check for over $1.3 million to the Lancaster County Conservancy to help acquire 240 acres of land for the protection of water resources and recreation at Speedwell Forge Lake and Conewago Creek/Trail. This project helps to acquire key forested lands adjacent to County trails and parks and helps our community meet clean water goals.
