Elections Directors across the Commonwealth are being made aware of reports that longtime registered voters are receiving text messages from “all-vote.com” indicating that there is a problem with their voter registration and urging them to take action to update their status. These texts messages do not stem from the Lancaster County Board of Elections nor the Department of State. Voters are encouraged to delete and report the text message as junk.
Opportunistic bad actors may attempt to use this campaign season to send phishing or smishing emails/texts like the one described above. Voters are encouraged to not click on links unless they are certain that the message is from a credible source and should never provide personal identifying information in response to such a message.
If you have a question about your voter registration, you can check your registration status online at vote.pa.gov or by calling the Lancaster County Board of Elections at 717-299-8293.
