Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman will be among the presenters Wednesday night at a drug awareness and prevention event in New Holland.
The event will include prevention tactics, including the distribution of lock boxes for prescription medications, and options for recovery.
The lock boxes are part of a district attorney's office initiative to raise awareness of prescription pill abuse and, particularly, the thefts of those medications.
The event starts at 6 p.m. at Garden Spot High School, 669 East Main Street, New Holland.
