The Pennsylvania DUI Association’s Moving Memorial will be in Lancaster city on Tuesday, June 28.
The memorial is an approximately 25-foot-long wall with the names of more than 1,800 victims killed in DUI-related crashes on Pennsylvania roads.
The memorial will be displayed in Lancaster Square, across from Binn’s Park, in the 100 block of North Queen Street from 9 a.m.- 2p.m.
Everyone is welcome to stop by for a look.
In Lancaster County so far this year, approximately 4 to 5 people are arrested for DUI - each day.
Last year in Lancaster County, 8 people were killed in DUI-related crashes.
"We have an obligation to do all we can to make sure there are not any more names going up on that wall," Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman said Tuesday. "That is why we continue to push for meaningful legislative change."
