A Lancaster man is headed to trial on several felonies regarding searches last month that uncovered crack cocaine, stolen pistols, and nearly $7,000 cash.

Eduar Zuniga waived preliminary hearings Monday and May 10 regarding charges – drug-dealing, receiving stolen property, drug paraphernalia - filed by the Lancaster County Drug Task Force.

Zuniga, 20, of 500 block of Manor Street, is at Lancaster County Prison on $300,000 bail.

After a four-month investigation which included surveillance, Drug Task Force detectives on April 28 stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Columbia Avenue. Zuniga was in the vehicle and was arrested on traffic warrants.

Search warrants were then executed on the vehicle and at Zuniga’s home on Manor Street.

During the searches, detectives found:
- 38 grams of crack cocaine, with an estimated street value of $3,800
- 3 handguns – 2 that were reported stolen
- $6,903 cash

Detectives believe Zuniga was dealing mainly in Lancaster city.

By waiving the preliminary hearings, Zuniga doesn’t admit guilt, but concedes there is evidence to support charges.

Zuniga is presumed innocent.
