A Leola man was sentenced Monday for, along with his son, having a large collection of child pornography.
Karl Neuenschwander will serve six months on house-arrest, followed by 6.5 years of supervision, for having lewd photos and videos on his home computer.
Neuenschwander, 45, and his 20-year-old son, Jack T. Neuenschwander, both were charged; the younger Neuenschwander is serving a 6-to-23-month prison sentence.
Karl Neuenschwander, the father, pleaded guilty to felony charges and was sentenced Monday in Lancaster County Court.
As part of the sentence, he must register under Megan’s Law, undergo required counseling/treatment, and is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with unrelated children.
Lancaster County Assistant District Attorney Mark Fetterman prosecuted the case.
East Lampeter Township police Detective Preston Gentzler filed charges.
