A Manheim man was recently sentenced in Lancaster County Court for shooting while a pair of workers repossessed his vehicle last year.
Lonnie M. Ashford Sr., 42, will serve 9 to 23 months on house-arrest, followed by three years on probation.
Ashford will be under electronic monitoring during his time on house-arrest, Judge Joseph Madenspacher ordered.
Ashford pleaded guilty in June to counts of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police charged Ashford with shooting three times as the workers, a man and woman, repossessed the vehicle (for non-payment) in the early morning of Aug. 29, 2014.
As the workers drove away with the vehicle in tow, Ashford gave chase on his motorcycle. He stopped when one of the workers called 9-1-1.
Ashford had no prior criminal history.
Lancaster County Assistant District Attorney Maria Cusick prosecuted the case.
