A Leola teenager will serve up to five years in state prison for repeatedly breaking into an Ephrata Township butcher shop earlier this year.
Andrew David Wenger, 18, was jailed 1.5 to 5 years after pleading guilty Monday in Lancaster County Court to counts of burglary, theft, and conspiracy.
In one of the break-ins, Wenger .22-caliber rifle, ammunition and cash.
Following his release from prison and parole, Wenger will serve three years of probation, according to Judge David Ashworth’s order.
Two other 18-year-olds – Bronson Martin and Jeremy Huber – also are charged in the crimes. Their cases are pending.
