[ARCHIVED] Peach Bottom Man Jailed up to 20 Years for Sex Abuse of Boy

Walter Lee Barron

A Peach Bottom man will serve up to 20 years in state prison for forcing sex acts upon a boy.

Walter Lee Barron, 32, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Lancaster County Court to felony sex crimes regarding the contact seven years ago in a Millersville home.

Barron will serve 8 to 20 years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation, Judge David Ashworth ordered.

Assistant District Attorney Karen Mansfield and Barron’s defense team agreed on the sentence in exchange for the plea, with approval from the victim.

As part of the sentence, Barron is to have no contact with the victim and register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.
