[ARCHIVED] Drug Task Force: Upper-Level Dealers Charged for $100K Stash of Cocaine, Fentanyl

Soto Ramirez Stash

A Lancaster city couple was recently arraigned in County Court for allegedly dealing cocaine and fentanyl in an “upper-level” drug operation, according to detectives.

The Lancaster County Drug Task Force raided a home in the 300 block of South Ann Street in September, and found over two pounds of cocaine, nearly 800 bags of fentanyl, and almost $30,000 cash.

The street value of the seized drugs was approximately $100,000.

Ricardo Soto and Moniqua Ramirez were subsequently charged with felony counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and fentanyl and conspiracy.

A lead investigator called the pair upper-level dealers.

Soto, 51, is at Lancaster County Prison on $2.5 million bail.

Ramirez, 41, is free on unsecured bail; her bail conditions were modified at a preliminary hearing last month.

The couple was arraigned in Lancaster County Court on Oct. 23. Soto and Ramirez are presumed innocent.

In all, the Drug Task Force seized from the South Ann Street home:

- 956 grams of cocaine

- 783 bags (about an ounce) of fentanyl

- Packaging materials, including a digital scale

- $29,624 cash

The raid followed an investigation that included surveillance of activity at the home.

NOTE: Details about the arrests/raid were not immediately released for investigative purposes.
