The COVID-19 emergency has prompted changes in events planned for May in Lancaster County: the Crime Prevention Summit and the Drug Task Force Public Auction.
- The Crime Prevention Summit, scheduled for May 15 at the Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 building, has been canceled for 2020.
The Lancaster County Crime Prevention Task Force (CPTF) organizes and hosts the annual summit, with a keynote speaker and various workshops on ways for residents to protect themselves.
Discussions are forthcoming on plans for the 2021 summit.
- The Lancaster County Drug Task Force Public Auction, originally scheduled for May 16 at the Lancaster County Park Building, is being postponed.
We will advise of a new date when one is determined; the tentative plan is for the fall.
The auction involves items seized and forfeited in local drug investigations/prosecutions.
