[ARCHIVED] GUILTY: Jury Convicts Man of Bringing Metal Knuckles to Lancaster County Courthouse

RosheRobinson

A Lancaster man was recently convicted of bringing metal knuckles to the Lancaster County Courthouse last year.

A Lancaster County jury convicted 50-year-old Roshe Robinson of possessing an offensive weapon, a misdemeanor charge.

Lancaster County Judge Merrill Spahn Jr. will order sentence on Aug. 5.

At the verdict, Judge Spahn raised Robinson’s bail to $75,000 cash.

Assistant District Attorney Amber Czerniakowski presented evidence about the Feb. 8, 2018, incident at 50 North Duke Street.

Robinson was stopped in the lobby when a metal detector chimed. Lancaster County deputy sheriffs questioned Robinson and discovered the metal knuckles in a jacket pocket.

The jury rejected the defense argument that the jacket was not Robinson’s and he did not know the metal knuckles were there.
