A Lancaster man will serve up to five years in prison for posting court documents and other content on Facebook in attempts to intimidate an individual involved in the Eddie Cameron murder case.
Tyeke Holcomb pleaded guilty Wednesday to intimidation and criminal use of a communication facility regarding postings found last summer that included documents and photos of the victim.
Lancaster County Judge Donald Totaro sentenced Holcomb, 28, to 1½ to 5 years in prison, in accordance with a plea agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Travis S. Anderson.
“Intimidating or tampering with a witness is criminal conduct that law enforcement takes very seriously,” Anderson said. “Anyone who engages in such conduct can expect to be prosecuted.”
Holcomb obtained copies of court/police documents regarding the 2015 killing of Cameron, and posted them on his Facebook page. He also posted derogatory memes that included the victim’s photo.
Lancaster city police Detective Sgt. Nathan Nickel filed charges.
