A Lancaster man is charged with dealing heroin after K9 Casper assisted Manheim police in finding over 400 bags during a weekend traffic stop.
Sadi Corretger, 28, is charged with possession with intent to deliver (heroin), resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license regarding the Saturday afternoon stop on North Wolf Street.
Corretger is at Lancaster County Prison on $250,000 bail, which has not been posted. He is presumed innocent.
Manheim police stopped Corretger’s vehicle on Saturday for a suspected window tint violation and for having an illegal windshield banner.
Upon stopping the vehicle, police noticed a large amount of cash rubber-banded in a center console. Police knew Corretger from prior contacts related to drugs.
Also, a resident had informed police Corretger’s vehicle was just involved in a drug transaction by their property.
Police called for K9 Casper and the dog alerted to narcotics by the passenger-side door. Police searched inside the vehicle and found the heroin stash inside a passenger console.
A black plastic bag was found containing three brick-shaped packages with bundles of heroin. The 420 bags were stamped with a “HULK’ brand.
Police also found $1,047 cash in the vehicle.
While arresting Corretger, he resisted by balling his fists, flailing his arms and shoving officers in attempts to get back in his vehicle.
Manheim police Officer Kirk Colwell filed charges.
