An East Lampeter Township man is facing felony charges after recent raids at multiple locations uncovered bulk cocaine and marijuana.
The Lancaster County Drug Task Force searched an East Lampeter Township home, a store garage in Columbia, and two vehicles belonging to 46-year-old Waldo V. Shepard.
The detectives found an estimated $66,000 worth of powder and crack cocaine, about $2,000 in marijuana, and cash.
Shepard will be arraigned today on felony drug-dealing counts. He posted $100,000 bail via a bondsman. He is also facing hearings regarding a violation of state parole/probation.
The Jan. 26 searches were in the 800 block of Purples Lane in Columbia, the 300 block of Honey Locust Square in East Lampeter Township, and two vehicles.
Detectives found:
- 600 grams of crack and powder cocaine;
- 350 grams of marijuana;
- $2,000 cash;
- Drug-packaging paraphernalia, including scales, baggies, razors, pyrex bowls, and a respirator.
Shepard is presumed innocent.
This information is being released now for reasons pertaining to an ongoing investigation.
