A Lancaster County jury recently convicted a man of sexual abuse of two girls in 2008.
Juan R. Silva, 46, was found guilty of two counts each of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors regarding abuse in Lancaster city.
The jury deliberated for about four hours before deciding the case Thursday at 4 p.m.
Lancaster County Judge Jeffery Wright, who presided over the trial, will order sentence after a background check is completed in a couple months.
Silva, of Reading, is at Lancaster County Prison on $500,000 bail.
Assistant District Attorney Amy Muller, who won the conviction, presented testimony over three days of the abuse at a home on South Prince Street.
The victims disclosed the abuse in 2016.
Lancaster city police Detective Aaron Harnish filed charges. The Hillsboro County Sheriff’s Office (Fla.) assisted in the investigation.
