Borough Boards appointed by Borough Council:    Planning Commission, 4-year term; Borough Authority, 5-year term; Historic Board of Review, 5-year term; Zoning Hearing Board, 5-year term; Civil Service Commission, 6-year term; and Tree Committee, 3-year term.   

Borough Council is a 4-year elected position.           

Member vacancies on Borough Boards & Commissions are advertised in the Strasburg News or Lancaster Newspaper.

Any resident who would like to be considered for appointment is asked to complete the Prospective Board Member Information Sheet.  Prospective members are also asked to submit a letter of interest.
