Planning Commission
All citizens are encouraged to attend and participate in the Planning Commission meetings, which meets each month to hear and discuss citizen concerns and ideas regarding land use issues. They also review township zoning and land use regulations, provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
Penn Township Officials and its residents have become more sensitive to changing conditions, problems and opportunities associated with growth. While the Township's current planning documents contain many applicable concepts, goals, and policies, they must be routinely updated to analyze and address the growth, the changes, and the future to assure that those changes which lie ahead preserve and perpetuate the qualities most desirable to the Township.
The Penn Township Planning Commission meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Township Office.
