Volunteers are an integral part of the Parks Department. Some of the projects volunteers have helped with include: assisting with youth swim lessons, offering free programs, trash and debris clean-up, mulching, planting flowers, invasive plant and weed control, administrative tasks, library assistance, washing and waxing ranger vehicles, painting, cleaning grills, and cleaning and waxing playground equipment.
