Volunteer Program

v      Do you have a small amount of time each week or month to make a significant contribution to an older person’s life while enriching yours?

v      Are you ready for a volunteer experience that provides flexibility and variety, requires a minimal time investment and is richly rewarding?

     If you answered “Yes” to these questions, you’ll want to explore the volunteer opportunities available at Lancaster County Office of Aging.

     There are several ways for you to become involved as a volunteer with our agency.  You may choose to:

v      Help a senior with a task on an ongoing basis through regular visits or contacts

v      Assist with special projects that occur only once or twice a year

v      Volunteer as part of a group for a one-time project

v      Assist agency staff with a variety of tasks including filing, data entry and mailings

v      Become involved in a specialized volunteer program
