Lancaster County GIS, a division of the Information Technology and Budget Services Department, presents a new GIS application which is available to the public as a free service.  It is named GISMO (GIS Mapping Online), because it makes GIS more accessible and easier to use.
 
GISMO allows users to navigate using the map display or search by address or parcel account number.  The application accesses a variety of base maps containing information such as property and municipal boundaries, color aerial photographs, school district boundaries, survey monuments, terrain features, transportation networks, and much more.
 
In addition to a larger map display, GISMO features quick search capabilities, dynamic spatial selection tools, property assessment information, and map printing templates.
