Established in 1966, the Lancaster Parking Authority may acquire, construct, improve and maintain parking projects; conduct research related to parking problems; establish a permanent, coordinated system of parking facilities; and borrow money and issue bonds. The Parking Authority operates parking garages, off-street parking lots, and parking meters.
