The Lancaster County Convention Center Authority was established in 1999, jointly by the City and County of Lancaster, to plan and build a state-of-the-art convention and meeting facility in the City of Lancaster. The facility will be located on the southeast corner of Historic Penn Square – the heart of the city’s business district for more than 200 years. The center will artfully blend old and new architecture to create a meeting facility like no other in the region. The convention center will be adjacent to an upscale Marriott hotel.
