The East Hempfield Township trash collection and recycling program includes a number of services under one contractor, Lebanon Farms Disposal.

Lebanon Farms Disposal observes these holidays:

• Normal collection days are Monday through Friday.

• If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, trash pick-up is not interrupted.

• If a holiday falls during the week, normal trash day will be delayed by one day, for that week.

• On regular collection days, trash, yard waste, and recyclables need to be placed curbside by 5:00 a.m. (It is recommended that trash be set out the night before to insure pick up).

• Trash may not be placed at curbside more than 24 hours prior to collection day.

• Trash bags, containers, and recycling bins should be placed no more than 5 feet from the curb and should be clearly visible to the collector.

• The Township can only guarantee the day of pick-up assigned to your street. Time of day is not guaranteed.

• If inclement weather prevents pick up, Lebanon Farms will broadcast on the local news stations.
