Road Projects - Current/Pending
2010 ROAD WORK NOTIFICATION

State Road Route 222 (Sec 041) Church Street Bridge Deck Placement. On August 17, 2010 (between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.), Baseline Contracting will be placing the concrete for the south bound bridge deck of Church Street bridge. Traffic control will be along Church Street, with a single lane traffic pattern and two flagman.

Please be advised that roadway construction will be taking place on the PA Turnpike between Mile Marker 282.0 and Mile Marker 292.0. Construction will primarily be milling and paving of the mainline along with concrete repairs at Reading Interchange. The project starts March 2010 and is scheduled to be completed in October 2010. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 8-0, SR 0272 (Reading Road) bridge replacement project beginning January 2011 for approximately 2 years. Click here for more details. Please note the detour route will be available for viewing at the East Cocalico Township Municipal Building, 100 Hill Road, Denver, PA 17517 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Please note: The covered bridge will not be part of the detour and only open to pedestrians or bicycles.

Where: Landis Rd from Naiperville Rd to Brecknock Twp line. What: Road widening of 24" on each side (meeting PennDOT specs).
Where: Martin Rd from East Church St to Brecknock Twp line. What: Road widening of 24" on each side (meeting PennDOT specs).
Where: Frysville Rd from Ephrata Twp Line to Earl Twp line. What: Road widening of 24" on each side (meeting PennDOT specs).
Where: Miller Road from Reinholds Road to Ridge Road. What: Road widening of 24" on each side (meeting PennDOT specs).
Where: Overlay of Ream Rd from Ridge Ave to the pool driveway on Ream Rd. What: Road widening of 24" on each side (meeting PennDOT specs).
Where: Hill Rd, Brunners Grove Rd, Martin Dr, Black Horse Rd, Indian Dale Rd, Buzzard Rd, Vera Cruz Rd, Mohns Hill Rd and Poplar Dr (total of 87,364 sq. yds.). What: Oil and Chip (meeting PennDOT specs).
