The May meeting of the East Petersburg Borough Planning Commission has been cancelled due to lack of agenda items to be acted on.
The Applicant and Developer of the Village Commons property has considered the various comments and input from the community and Borough Planning Commission and is moving in a different direction with the project. The current plan for the Dollar General and Advance Auto Center has been requested to be tabled. A new plan providing for simple retail space on the same area and space as the existing buildings is anticipated to be submitted within the next week. This plan will be considered for review and recommendations at the June 20th East Petersburg Borough Planning Commission meeting.
Upon receipt of the plan submission, it will be available for review in the Borough Office during normal office hours.
