Steven Hastings serves the township as the Emergency Management Coordinator.  The township has an Emergency Operations Plan that basically outlines the steps that would be implemented in the event of a disaster or emergency in the township.  Mr. Hastings regularly attends the meetings held by the Emergency Management Agency which continually updates him on the latest information available and exchange of ideas from other municipalities on what to do in case of an emergency.
