The Road Department is located at the Township Building. The department is comprised of two full-time workers. During extremely busy times, such as snow removal or spring/summer maintenance of roads, seasonal workers are hired to assist the regular work crew. The road crew maintains miles of township roads. This department is responsible for road construction, equipment and building maintenance, and winter snow and ice removal.

Driveway Permits - Permits are necessary for any establishment, alteration, improvement or repair to private driveways and entrances upon public roads within the township. Please contact Troy J. Groff, Roadmaster, when you need to obtain a road permit for township roads. Cost of the permit is $30.00. For driveways with entrances on to state highways, Penn Dot must be contacted for issuance of a permit.
