Parent Involvement

Parent Advisory Network

The Parent Advisory Network is a way for Early Intervention families to connect with each other, have access to parent trainings, and provide a voice in Early Intervention planning. Information is sent via email, usually by the Parent Projects Coordinator. Your thoughts and feedback are valuable to Early Intervention as they help us to better support your child and family. You can sign up to receive informative emails from the Parent Advisory Network by contacting your Support Coordinator.

You can contact the Parent Projects Coordinator, Jennifer Watts directly at 717-735-1542 or

Local Interagency Coordinating Councils (LICC)

The Local Interagency Coordinating Councils are groups that consist of representatives from families, county administration, Intermediate Units, school districts, Early Intervention providers, Head Start, service coordinators, health agencies, and other community organizations. This group works together to improve the quality of the local Early Intervention system, which serves children with developmental delays from birth to school-age. LICC meetings can help your family learn new ways to help your child, discover available resources, and connect with other parents who have children in the Early Intervention program.

Come check it out! Please join LICC for a meeting of the executive committee or for one of the presentations. For information about the date and location of the next meeting, please contact Tania Hripto,
